Going onto my 3rd week already?!

Sunday was just a nice, relaxed day for me. For some reason though, I woke up around 6 in the morning! I have no idea why! I was glad I did though because I saw I had an email from my family saying they wanted to Skype with me between 6 and 7 my time! I hurried out of bed, emailed them saying I was going to take a shower really quick and then I'd give them a call! It was so great talking to them. I hadn't talked to them on Skype yet, so it was great seeing them and legitimately talk to them for once! Since I'd left, I'd only emailed them. This was so much better! They weren't very talkative though because it was around 11 pm their time! (Not my fault! They planned it out, not me!) We'll plan a better time for the both of us next time!

After Skyping, I took my time getting the rest of the way ready because no one comes to clean my room on Sunday. Or at least I thought... Wrong! The women came around 10ish to tidy things up and change my sheets and make my bed. Looks like I had to leave my room again! Millie and I decided to go shopping again to get things to last us the next week or so. It didn't bother us any! When we got back, I decided to do some reading and finished a 243 page book I started the night before! I don't know how I read through that book that fast! It was called Lucky by Alice Sebold and I would highly recommend it to everyone! It was about an event that actually happened to her, so it was extremely moving. I don't want to say too much about it because I don't want to ruin it if anyone's going to read it!

For lunch, neither of us were too hungry, so we just cooked up some cauliflower and cut up some vegetables to eat! (No tea this time! Shocking I know!) After lunch, I played a some games of cards for a while. It was good, but I started getting bored, so I decided to go for a walk around the campus! (Also so I could take a few more pictures of the plants because my parents said they wanted to see some more since I talk about them all the time in my emails...) While I was walking, I came across Dr. Jean's cat! This cat is so old and basically lives by the Forage Diversity building! She feeds him every morning and night!

The cafeteria

The Zebu Club

They look like daisies

They remind me of daisies

The bank located on ILRI

One of my favorite trees! There's no bark!
I have no idea what it is!

Everything is landscaped and beautiful!

One of my favorite plants!

Where I work! Forage Diversity!

Dr. Jean's cat!

The lone gas station on ILRI

The greenhouses

I love these trees as well

These were really pretty and different!
It was a long walk and it got really hot! Later, Millie and I decided to go swimming since it was such a beautiful day out! While swimming, we ran into Tigist! She had a meeting she had to go to and she brought her 2 daughters because they wanted to go swimming! Her 2 daughters are 11 and 13 years old and are so cute and sweet! It was great meeting them!

It was a great, relaxed Sunday, so I don't know if I'm ready for Monday!
